    I was hoping to find an honest to goodness southern cooking spot on my trip south. I found it! Be warned....This isn't health food. This is not good for your diet. The buffet is a mountain of the best fried chicken I've ever had, ribs, roast beef, biscuits, gravy, collards, mac and cheese, and lots more. Just plain satisfying!

    If you like home style southern food this is the place. For a buffet it is really good. Good variety of food on the buffet and all tastes homemade. All kinds of fried seafood, shrimp, scallops, oysters and hush puppies. Then they have fried chicken, collards, stewed tomatoes, dirty rice, pork and cabbage, mashed potatoes, butter beans, corn etc. The desserts are really good too, the banana pudding was just like my Mema’s. You get your money’s worth.

    I went with 4 of my kids. My older kids wouldn't help with my infant, yet one of the staff was willing to help. They are amazing people and I will go again. The chicken tenders are amazing and so are the butter beans...it's soul food and it is awesome

    Buffet is awesome. North Carolina style BBQ is perfect. Great fresh salad bar... lots of choices on the food bar & good desert bar. I ate my money worth.

    Good variety of food. Fast service. Perfect buffet prices. Lots of happy customers. My only request...add some chocolate chip cookies or make pie slices larger. Lol. Still a great restaurant for the area there.
